A few more screen shots for Screamers was added. It's now about 80% complete, and I'm looking at a late August release. Equal time is being spent with adding bits of custom scenery as well.

Production for "Screamers" is well under way. This dual track horror fest will take the dark ride to a new level of fright. There are plenty of brilliant RCT3 dark rides now available from a number of talented designers. What I set out to do with Screamers is concentrate on old school scares, rather then elaborate, Disney-style productions. I want riders to tense up, and jump out of their seat, the type of experience not recommended for the youngsters.  Keep your eyes peeled for Screamers....  Summer 2008!

I know, three months I've neglected my web updates. This is what happens when you're involved with modeling two extensive theme sets in a row for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. Oh yeah, and real life issues, like work, etc. Anyway, I've now found a block of time to add my most recent projects: Blox (released a few months ago), and the newly released, Steelworx. Head to the RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 section for more info.

It's been ages for updates, but I've had enough on my plate, between beta testing the upcoming RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 expansion packed: Soaked!, building models for the Dark Ride custom scenery Set for RCT3 along with my partner, Marnetmar, and putting together a spooky ride through video sampler to compliment the new set, titled.. Phantasm

The battle has begun! Alien vs. Predator is now open. You can download the video advertisement for a slick preview, or jump right into the action with the dueling-racing downloadable tracks (place it in your RCT3/parks folder).

Trackworx Reviews RollerCoaster Tycoon 3.
10-26-04

RollerCoaster Tycoon is RELEASED! The mail order divisions of Electronic Boutique and GameStop (US-based) have now changed their status to "Ships Within 24 hours" as I predicated (despite the pessimists).  This also means, the retail walk-in shops will receive shipments tomorrow morning. My copy should arrive in the mail first thing sometime tomorrow. Look for a Trackwox review with screen shots shortly!

The official RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Prima Game Guide is out. Trackworx brings you the interesting highlights!
10-05-04 It's been three over months since the last update, but owning your business means, personal hobbies become secondary during certain periods. A lot has happened towards the closing of summer, including an an exciting 1.5 update to No Limits, which includes shuttle coasters, new train styles plus much more; another update for Scream Machines (version 1.55) featuring two new train styles,  and the highly anticipated RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Demo, which made its debut on September 27th. Some interesting sample RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 screens from my "temporary" park will be posted shortly.
06-13-04 Trackworx expands with two new unusual attractions added to our Ultimate Ride sector of the park, courtesy of designer, AJC!
06-08-04 Scream Machines 1.5 is now ready to rock. Registered users can download the updated full install, while newcomers can check out the demo, and feast their eyes upon the amazing amount of track styles and trains. Included with this release are the long awaited Suspended Coasters, and Outer Rail track featuring mini-bike trains, among other new things.
06-07-04 Soon, you will join the many others who are about to loose there mind in the world of Psychotic. This is a new, monster-sized theme pack that is destined to take the Ultimate Ride series to yet another level. Be sure to check out Mods to the Max for this absolutely insane expansion that will be available for owners of Disney's Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe, and Disney Edition. This package will include everything from new track styles and cars, to amazing props they will simply blow your mind. This is a group project which I am involved with, led by Whiteflash, who's simply a genius at modding. If you haven't joined Mods to the Max yet, get your brain over there right now, and look out for Psychotic..!
06-03-04 Another coaster is in the works or Scream Machines. I've decided to tackle Volcano~The Blast Coaster which is a short ride, but far from easy to replicate. The main foundation (Volcano model) is done, and the track layout out is intact, but completely unrefined. There's still plenty left to do including additional 3D models to extend the Volcano over both the station and launch dock, the front sign, and the tedious wonder we called... customized supports. It'll be a while before she blows...! ;-)
05-31-04 Memorial Day - a day of rest, and remembrance. Trackworx officially opens its gates, though parts of the park are still fenced off with new rides under construction, or simply getting a makeover. Very soon, we will be accepting some personal quality coaster tracks from other users, related to any of the coaster sims featured on this site. If you have a AAA attraction (which we @ Trackworx can agree on) and would like to feature it in our park, send an email our way at: feedback@trackworx.com
05-30-04 Scream Machines fans, get ready for a major update -- coming very soon. New features will include: a new wooden-style train, outrail track, new Steel Looper trains, and more! The big news, however, is the introduction of the suspended style coaster, a first in any 3D sim. If you're a fan of the Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, you're going to wish you were Red Riding Hood when you see the final version.  More information can be found at the official Scream Machines Web Site.
05-21-04 A new coaster game for PAL PS2 systems was released in Eurpope, titled "Rollercoaster World". It's basically an upgraded version of an old Japanese Dreamcast game called "Coaster Works". Midas is the publisher, but it's definitely the same Japanese development house behind the now defunct DC game. The new features include entire park management, more coaster types, scenery and flat rides. The scenery is a mixed bag, with dull colors choices and basic designs, yet most of the flat rides look really good and convincing. The coasters however, are actually where the entire package falls flat.

RCW's  physics are totally off the hook, and the G-Force feedback is laughable. The simplistic editor (which sports some good ideas) becomes an all out excursion to torture-ville, especially trying to correct mistakes. You can ride your creations as well as view them from a number of camera angles, but the end result is a disappointing mess; even the demo coasters which should set a good example, are pretty ridiculous. To add insult to injury, all track detail looks the same, as in, no lift chain going up the initial hill (just the sound). Overall, the management part is strangely enough..fun, and the night time views are impressive, however the main attraction needs some serious demolition.
