Disney's Ultimate Ride
has a long history with me, as I became a beta tester from the start of
this wonderful series. The original game simply called "Ultimate Ride"
was the first coaster building sim/game that featured sound effects and
props to fully theme your coaster. Succeeding the original, Disney
followed up with two outstanding sequels that way surpassed the
limitations of the the first, including advanced special effects, new
track elements, and disabling prop collision detection - allowing a
totally free range to place props. In addition, a new folder structure
was introduced, allowing users to build there own themes, car-styles and
environments (with the proper utilities, not included). Overall,
Ultimate Ride is the easiest of coaster building programs, with a
fantastic interface that you'll be become accustomed to within minutes.
If your thing is building realistic coasters like Top Thrill Dragster or
Millennium Force, then I suggest you stick with No Limits or Scream
Machines. If Disney Style attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
are your cup of tea, then hop on board with the Ultimate Ride Series.
Please note, all rides created on this site require both "Ultimate Ride
Coaster Deluxe" and Ultimate Ride Disney Coaster Edition". I am not sure
if these games are still being produced, but you can check various
retailers, or go direct to the
Disney Store
site for purchase.
The coasters below use objects designed by the coaster creator, as well
as additional objects made by other talented users. In order to obtain
the additional themes, environments or special effects, required, you
will need to register at Mod to
the Max - which hosts a complete library of fantastic add-ons for
the Ultimate Ride series. This site also features coaster competitions,
a weekly top coasters countdown, extensive forums, and an incredibly
helpful & friendly staff.

Dark ride
fans, prepare for launch. Space Dungeons uses all custom made props,
including specially made shuttle cars, and features audio and
visual effects. Ride this Vekoma-style track through a stage indoor
complex of far out terror. |

House-style of attraction to a new, thrill-seeking generation. Say
goodbye to the days of slow moving boats through faintly lit tunnels - -
